Brown + blue + grey

Combining warm colours with other vivid colours often leads to surprisingly magnificent results. To avoid that your interior becomes too much, however, it is best to make smart choices and work with colour accents. For example, you could paint two large areas in brown and incorporate lighter colours in accents. Brown + terracotta + green

Using soft colours together creates a comfy and relaxing feeling for your interior. Think of a combination between colours like terracotta, dark pastel green and brown. Key to make this work is to use a fixed colour scheme. Only selected a handful of tones you wish to incorporate into your interior and use those in several places: the wall, but also pillows, rugs, posters,...

Brown, green and terracotta all are natural, earthly hues, which might explain why their combination is so successful.
