If you're still having some doubts on how to use this product, maybe our how-to guides and some colour inspiration might help you.
What can you use for it?
Sigma Perfect Matt is a matte wall paint for indoors. You can use it in almost any room, from the living room up to the bedroom. For the kitchen, staircase, or other places that need to be kept clean, we recommend Sigma Pearl Clean Matt.
Alternatively, you can use Sigma Perfect Matt as ceiling paint.
Don't know how many litres you need? With Sigma Perfect Matt 10l you can paint a 50m² room in two layers. So in total, you will have painted 100m² with Perfect Matt 10l.
Not sure how to use paint? Have a look at the how-to guides below.
How much Sigma Perfect Matt do you need?
Not sure whether you need 10 litres, or perhaps a combination of 5 litres, 2.5 litres, 1 litre? Then consult our handy overview to see how much you can (probably) paint with each can size.
Size | Surface in 1 layer | Surface in 2 layers |
---|---|---|
1 litres, white or mix colour | ± 10 m² | ± 5 m² |
2,5 litres, white or mix colour | ± 25 m² | ± 12,5 m² |
5 litres, white or mix colour | ± 50 m² | ± 25 m² |
10 litres, white or mix colour | ± 100 m² | ± 50 m² |
Bottom line: with Sigma Perfect Matt you could paint probably between 8 and 11 m² in one layer with 1 litre. To make calculating a bit easier, we're counting on an average usage of 10 m²/litre. So with 1 litre, you could paint around 1 litre and with 10 litres you could paint around 100 m². When you need to apply two layers, you count half the surface, so 1 litre for 5 m² in two layers, and so on.
Just know, there is no exact measure to calculate how much paint you need. It depends, for example, of the state of your walls (porous or not) and your painting style (whether you're using a lot of paint or not). We always advise you to order a bit less paint. You can simply order a bit extra afterwards if necessary.
