How do you use Permacryl PU Primer
Preparation: Before applying the primer, the surface must be thoroughly cleaned. (Wash, let dry, sand and dust) If your substrate has already been painted once but is no longer in good condition, it is best to scratch off this paint or use a stripper if necessary.
Application: This primer is a undercoat. Apply with a paint brush or roller. You can also spray this primer with Airless. 1 coat is normally sufficient, if the undercoat is not completely covered you can apply another coat of this product.
Finishing: After drying, sand and dust the layer before finishing with a Permacryl PU lacquer. So you can give your kitchen cabinets, doors, wooden furniture, window frames and so much more a refresh.

What colours is this lacquer available in?
A misconception about primers is that they have to be white. We don't think this is necessary at all. Because if you are not sure about the colour yet, you can use a primer to apply it first. Then, with the final coat, you can still decide to go a shade darker.
In addition, taking a primer in colour is sometimes even more beneficial for the wallet, because when your primer and your final coat are the same colour, you get the desired opaque result faster.
