Sikkens Rubbol BL Isoprimer - Insulating Primer
Water-based insulating primer based on alkyd emulsion for indoor and outdoor use.
Description
Sikkens Rubbol BL Isoprimer is used as an insulating primer on bare wood to prevent discoloration of paint layers by ingredients.
Also applicable on cleaned and sanded alkyd resin paint layers.
In the following types of wood, among others, bleeding of ingredients can occur and the application of Rubbol BL Isoprimer is recommended: Merbau, Dark Red Meranti, Western Red Cedar, Oak and Afzelia.
In Pine and Spruce, brushes and knots can sometimes cause a yellow discoloration. These are preferably pre-treated with Rubbol BL Isoprimer.
If bleeding and/or discoloration still occurs after applying the first layer, a second layer should be applied.
