But that’s not all! Cetol HLS Plus can also be used as an all-in-one system (primer & finish) for garden sheds, wooden fences, and cladding.
One of its biggest advantages? You can choose from pre-mixed colours like Pine, Light Oak, and Mahogany, or opt for a custom shade from the Sikkens 5051 colour collection. Simply add a T after the colour code for a transparent effect that preserves the wood grain. This creates a subtle wash effect, reminiscent of a white wash or grey wash finish. But how do you apply this exterior matt stain? Applying Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus is easy. Use a flat brush, like the ProGold Classic 7530, for a smooth, even coat. After 24 hours of drying time, you can safely apply the next layer. Important: This is a solvent-based stain, so be sure to clean your tools with White Spirit.
