Polyfilla Rolbare Afwerkplamuur - Rollable finishing putty
Description
Make structured substrates, walls with decorative plaster or walls with fibreglass smooth by working with this Polyfilla Rollable Finishing putty. This rollable finishing putty levels walls and can fill small unevennesses up to 2mm. By filling your entire wall with this, you will make large areas ready to be painted or wallpaper applied.
Also nice about this Polyfilla Rolbare Afwerkplamuur: you can apply the putty with a roller first, so filling suddenly goes much faster. Then you just have to spread the putty for a smooth result. You can read more about the procedure under the ‘How to use’ tab.
We praise this putty because it is a relatively easy product for the painthusiast to work with due to its semi-lightweight formula. Afterwards, this rollable putty is also easy to sand to put the finishing touches to it and allow your paint to adhere better at a later stage.
Attention: Do not apply on walls with moisture penetration, as these need to be treated first.

How to apply Polyfilla rolbare afwerkplamuur?
What you need: To apply this Polyfilla rollable finishing putty, you will need the accompanying tools, i.e. the roller and spreader.
Preparation: Before applying the Polyfilla finishing putty, check your walls and ceilings thoroughly. Make sure they are clean, dry, dust- and grease-free. Spotted any holes deeper than 1.5 mm? Fill them with a suitable filler.
If you also saw some loose parts of paint or wallpaper on your wall, you will have to remove them. Then you will need to check whether your substrate is powdery by rubbing it with your hand. If this is the case, you should use a fixative so that your filler and paint layers will adhere well.
That was already quite a lot of work I hear you thinking. But hey good preparation pays off with a smooth result.
Rolling out: Now the Polyfilla Rolbare Afwerkplamuur may be applied after stirring well. How? Use the roller and first apply the putty in vertical strips. Then roll horizontally to distribute the paste evenly.
Spreading A timer can also come in handy for this job, because after applying with the roller, wait about 20 min before smoothing the walls with a straightener. This should be done within 20 to 30 minutes. We recommend starting close to the floor first by working from bottom to top. If the paste has become a little too dry, you can lightly moisten the surface with a plant spray to make it easier to finish smooth. If necessary, after 6 hours of drying, you can apply a second layer of rollable finishing putty with roller and spreader.
