How to use?

Using Dalapro Medium is straightforward. Begin by ensuring the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or loose material. Apply the filler directly from the container using a spatula or trowel. For best results, apply in layers up to 4 mm thick, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next. Sand the surface lightly once dry to achieve a perfectly smooth finish. Typically, one liter covers approximately one square meter, depending on the substrate and application thickness.

How to use Dalapro Medium

A hand filler is easy to apply with a spatula or filler knife. But before you start, make sure you remove any loose or protruding bits on the surface. You can do this with a stabbing knife, possibly using paint stripper, or sometimes a coarse grit sandpaper, depending on what you want to remove. Dirt, dust, grease and moisture can also be removed. As with painting, it is best to start with a cleaned, degreased and dry surface. Berdy Clearline prepares your surface well.

Next, you can get started with your filler. Take some on your filler knife. When you want to level large damages, hold your filler knife slightly flatter. This way you can push the putty well into the small gaps. For smaller blemishes, make the angle between your surface and the filler knife slightly larger (about a 45°). That way, you make a little more use of the straight edge of the knife scraping away the excess putty.

Finishing

After the putty has fully hardened, you can use some sandpaper to get rid of the last irregularities if necessary. Before painting, it is also recommended anyway to go over your filler work again with a fine-grit sandpaper. By the way, apply a primer before painting or wallpapering. That way you will get the best result!
