Rubson Sealant for Walls & Windows
Want to seal your space properly against wind and rain? Get to work with Rubson joint sealant for windows and walls to seal gaps and joints. You can apply this sealant both indoors and outdoors and it is resistant to rain and UV rays. The product may be painted over with any paint, varnish or stain, although that is not always necessary if you like the colour of this sealant.
For which substrates?
Basically, the sealant is specially designed for sealing joints and gaps between walls and windows. But it can certainly also serve for sealing between walls and door frames, between floor and window and door thresholds, between floor or wall and skirting boards.
Rubson Walls-Windows adheres excellently to stone, wood, PVC, aluminium and metal. Does not adhere to PA, PE, PP, Teflon® and bitumen.

How do I apply Rubson Muren & Ramen?
Supplies: Sealant gun to apply and joint sealant spreader to open the tube and smooth out the sealant.
How to use Rubson Muren-Ramen?
Preparation: Clean your wall or window frame by removing all dirt, grease and dust. Then tape off all grout edges so that your joint is nice and straight. Make sure the grout is between 5 and 10 millimetres wide on both the wall and window frame.
Application: Open the tube using the 2-in-1 joint sealant spreader. Turn the enclosed nozzle on it and cut it at an angle. Tip: cut the opening in the same size as the desired width of the grout you want to seal. Now you can put the tube in the sealant gun and start sealing by squeezing the handle. Do this in a smooth motion across the joint. Apply enough sealant everywhere so that the product adheres well.
Finishing: If your sealant needs to be smoothed out a little, you can do so with the handy 2-in-1 joint sealant spreader. Has everything been applied properly? Then let the sealant dry and remove the masking tape.
What colours can I get in Rubson Muren-Ramen ?
You can get this kit in different colours. For example, you can already go for brown, which is close to a wooden look. Grey is another possibility, which can already look like cement or concrete.
Of course, the colour of the sealant does not play a major role when you are going to paint over it. You can paint over the sealant both inside and outside with all the usual paints, lacquers and stains. Although overpainting is not necessarily needed.
